Retrial of former school principal under way

The retrial of a former school principal began at a Kwun Tong Magistrates' Court this morning.
So Yau-hang, 53, is facing 10 charges of indecent assault involving three teachers.
So pleaded not guilty to all the charges, which allegedly took place between 2000 to 2006.
So, the former head of Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Primary School had been convicted in the original trial and received 12 weeks' jail and fined HK$3,000, but was released on bail pending an appeal.
In March, So had succeeded in his appeal to quash the conviction on the grounds that his original trial was unfair.
The appeal court ordered a retrial, which continues this afternoon .
